A WEO-specific path through Anthropic’s official training — Claude 101 from Anthropic Academy, with WEO role playbooks, dental marketing prompts, and governance rules layered on top. Completable in a week of light effort. Mixed-role (support / web / SEO / ads / content). Mixed technical depth. Scope is Claude.ai (the chat interface) — Claude Code, Cowork, and the API are out of scope and pointed at as next steps in Module 8.

Why structured this way: Anthropic’s Academy courses are free, authoritative, and get updated as the product evolves. Rewriting them in a wiki would drift. Instead each module anchors on an Anthropic course or tutorial and adds (1) why this matters at WEO, (2) dental marketing examples, and (3) a WEO-specific Try It. That gets us a course that stays current automatically and is 90% less text to maintain.

Recommended outcome per team member: completing Anthropic’s Claude 101 course + a personal prompt library of 3–5 role-specific dental prompts they actually use.

What changed this pass: Memory (new GA surface) folded into Modules 1 + 4, Opus 4.7 / Sonnet 4.6 / Haiku 4.5 named explicitly in Module 1, connector directory (50+ apps) reframed in Module 6, Research mode expanded with dental examples, CCA certification rebranded from CCA-F in Module 8, Dispatch (Cowork mobile) and new Cowork tutorials added to Module 8. The Claude 101 Course

Everyone who uses Claude on real WEO client work is encouraged to complete Anthropic’s Claude 101 course. It’s free, it takes about 90 minutes, it covers the ground truth of how Claude works, and it gives the team a common foundation. This course (the one you’re reading) is the WEO-specific layer on top.

How to Use This Course

  • Start at Module 0, work through in order. Foundations → Role Playbook → Features → Governance.
  • Do the Try Its. Every module ends with a hands-on exercise using real dental marketing scenarios. Skipping them is the #1 reason onboarding doesn’t stick.
  • Module 7 before real work. WEO has strict rules about what data can go into Claude (client records, patient-adjacent info, etc.). Read Module 7 before you use Claude on anything client-facing.
  • Module 3 is a reference. Come back to it constantly. It’s your role-specific playbook, not something you read once.
  • Questions go to the AI council. Module 8 tells you how.
